Prepare a specification brief
- Identify the application and the service environment.
- State panel dimensions, quantity and any overall thickness constraints.
- Define face sheets, core requirements and surface finish if known.
- Show supports, edge closures, inserts and cut-outs in a drawing.
- List required performance tests and approval documents.
- Specify packaging and delivery destination.
Drawings and dimensions
Include units and drawing revision. Mark overall dimensions, hole positions, edge details and areas requiring inserts. Identify which dimensions are critical.
Product documents
Request the technical data sheet, installation guidance and applicable test or approval documents for the proposed panel construction. Document availability and applicability are confirmed for the selected specification.
